The Prince of Peace Parish Library is located in the lower level of the Parish Office, 16 Ste. Croix Street, Lewiston. The Library is unshut during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, with other hours by appointment.   If you have books or materials to donate, please undeniability Jean Paul Labonte at 207-946-4806 to have the books reviewed. Please do not bring books to the Parish Office or Library. The Prince of Peace Parish Library was established in November of 2009.  It began with the donation of a private hodgepodge of religious books from a parishioner.  Since that time, the Library has grown tremendously with numerous donations of books, DVDs, and funds from parishioners and religious alike.   The purpose of the Library is to offer people inside and outside of the Prince of Peace Parish and Catholic polity resources to expand their faith, spirituality, and knowledge of the faith and the Church.   The Library now boasts of: Over 3,500 books all cataloged by the Dewy Decimal System. A comprehensive hodgepodge ranging in subject matter from spirituality, popes, saints, apologetics, faith formation, fiction, history, theology, and more. Sections designated for those doing research including: The Catholic Encyclopedia collection, The Encyclopedia Judaica collection, Catechism of the Catholic Faith, Dictionaries on Theology and Church Doctrine, Canon Law, and much more. A computer program that allows patrons to search for books by: Title, Author and Subject Matter. The worthiness to search for books and DVDs directly from this website.       New Book and DVD Introductions every month. We welcome recommendations for new books and DVDs.
