A ‘Traditional Classroom Based’ program (Pre K to Grade 5) A “Family Based” programs (Grade 1 to Grade 5)    Traditional Classroom Based Faith Formation   Age 4 to Grade 5 This program will be offered at Holy Family and meets weekly throughout the school year on Monday evenings.  Classes run from 6pm to 7:15pm where children meet in a classroom setting with a Catechist (teacher).  In our main Church Hall there will be offerings for parents to grow in their own faith while the children are in class.  Monday nights we moreover will be offering the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for children age 4 & 5.  This is a Montessori based program designed for our youngest learners! This program is limited to just 10 children.    Family Faith Formation    Ages 6 to Grade 5 “The family's catechetical worriedness has a special character, which is in a sense irreplaceable.”  Saint Pope John Paul II This program normally meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the Month where the whole family participates together.  Each month will have a unique Catholic theme where the unshortened family will learn the truths of our faith in a fun and interactive way.  This is not a waif of program and parents must participate along with their children.     We will be offering this program on Sundays at : - Holy Family Church 9:30am to 10:45am     Youth Ministry   Grades 6—12 For increasingly information on our Youth Ministry, click HERE.  Our Youth Ministry program takes place on Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm and includes dinner.  Be on the squint out for increasingly information as we are in the process of developing an all new team! You can scan and email it to Mrs. Newton or you can simply waif it by the parish office or in the mail!   Sacramental Preparation: First Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Communion Preparation is a two-year process. This usually begins in 1st grade but it is not uncommon to have older children begining their first year of Sacramental Preparation. Here at Prince of Peace, Confirmation and First Communion is prestigious in the fall of 3rd grade. Instruction continues through the end of that year.
