In other words, catechesis is the process in which the Word of God re-sounds (echoes) between the teacher and the student! It’s a dynamic process in which Jesus (the Word of God), the catechist (teacher/proclaimer), the disciple (student) and the Holy Spirit all come together to light a fire in our hearts and alimony the fire burning.   Catechesis has one primary goal; to lead all God's people to an overly worsening relationship with God who reveals himself in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.  How do you think that God calling you to participate increasingly fully in the church’s mission of catechesis?      Login powered by eCatholic®
